The Worst Best Christmas Pageant Ever

Join the Cornerstone Church of Ione for their annual dinner theatre.  This year’s production is “The Worst Best Christmas Pageant!”.  The Nativity Play Goes Wrong! will be presented over four evenings between December 14th through the 17th.  Doors open at 5:30 pm and dinner is served at 6 pm.  The performance begins at 6:45 pm.  Dinner will be Tri-Tip, Mac & Cheese, mashed potatoes, salad, roll, and dessert.

Tickets for the production are $25 for adults and $12 for kids.  Wednesday, December 14th will be Kids Night.  On Kids Night, adult tickets will be $16 and kid tickets will be just $10.  Kids Night will be a little more informal and hamburgers and hot dogs will be served as the main course.  All proceeds will benefit the Amador County Food Bank.

Ione Police Foundation Fundraising Dinner

The Ione Police Foundation presents the 7th Annual Fundraising Dinner to benefit the Ione Police Department.  The Dinner will take place on Saturday October 1st, 2022 at the Evalynn Bishop Hall at Charles Howard Park in Ione.  Prior to the dinner will be a no-host bar starting at 5:30 pm with the dinner beginning at 6:30.  This is going to be a wonderful dinner catered by Motherlode Deli featuring grilled beef tri-tip, grilled chicken breast, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, spring salad mix and garlic bread.  Don’t forget to bring your checkbook to support the Police Department by buying raffle tickets and bidding on the live and silent auctions.

The Evalynn Bishop Hall is located at 701 California Highway 124 in Ione, California.  Tickets to the Fundraising Dinner are $40 per person or you can get a table of 10 for $350.  For tickets or for more information, please contact any Ione Police Officer, stop by the Ione City Hall or call 209-304-5101.

Castle Oaks Family Fun Night

The Amador County Recreation Agency presents Family Fun Night on Saturday, October 15th at Castle Oaks Golf Course in Ione.  The Family Fun Night will feature Family bingo, glow golf, trivia, prizes, and much more!  The Family Fun Night will begin at 5 and end at 8 pm and will be held in the Caddy’s Restaurant in Castle Oaks.  Tickets for the Family Fun Night will be $25 and adults are $30.  Both tickets include a meal.  This is going to be amazing fun for the whole family so make sure you are there!

Paint and Sip

The Ione Community 4-H Club invite you to come and support the club at their Paint and Sip night.  The Paint and Sip will be held October 7th at the Pizza Factory in Ione.  The Paint and Sip will start 6 pm on the second floor.  The Paint and Sip will feature Priscilla from Heart and Soul Studio.  Tickets for the Paint and Sip are $45 per person which includes all painting supplies.  Light snacks and will be provided.

Space is limited so please reserve your spot no later than September 30th.  You can reserve your spot by contacting Christine Gold at 209-256-4111 or Alissa Hardie at 209-256-9814.  Cash, check, and Venmo are all accepted.  The Ione Pizza Factory is located at 10 E. Main Street in Ione, California.

Do you know we have a real haunted castle right here in Amador County?  Be prepared to be frightened beyond belief, scared senseless, and have your mind warped at the 2022 Preston Castle Haunt, weekends in October starting October 14th, 2022.  This castle is so haunted it was not only featured on “Ghost Hunters” but also “Ghost Adventures,” and “Ghost Asylum” too!  Don’t come thinking this is a historical tour of the Castle.  This is place for you to get seriously frightened!
