Come rain or shine, please join the Ione Veteran Memorial Park to honor all of the troops who served our great nation with their Annual Walk for the Troops.  The Walk for the Troops will take place on April 30, 2022.  The walk begins at the Veteran’s Memorial Park in downtown Ione and will end at the Evelyn Bishop Hall in Howard Park.  A lunch prepared by local volunteers will be available following the walk.  Lunch tickets are $20 at the door and every lunch ticket is entered to win $5 to $100 gift cards.  Beer, wine, and nonalcoholic beverage tickets are also available at the door.  There will also be music, a silent auction, and a raffle with over 50 prizes.
