Walk for the Troops

Save the date for the Ione Veterans Memorial Park “Walk for the Troops,” a special community event honoring our fallen heroes, veterans, and active duty military. The day begins with a full military ceremony at the corner of Preston Avenue and Main Street in Ione, followed by a respectful walk to Evelynn Bishop Hall.
At Evelynn Bishop Hall, guests will enjoy a catered lunch, raffle, and music featuring Rockin Rachel Entertainment with singer/DJ Rachel Andrews. Five $100 gift cards will be awarded as door prizes. All proceeds benefit Ione Veterans Memorial Park for ongoing maintenance and development of this important community memorial.
