Rib Night Fundraiser BBQ Dinner

Enjoy wonderful food, good music, and a fun night under the stars all while supporting a great organization.  On Friday, April 29, 2022, the Amador Polar Bears will present Rib Night Fundraiser BBQ Dinner.  The Dinner will take place from 6 to 9 pm at Laughton Ranch in Jackson.  In addition to dinner and dancing, there will be a silent auction and a raffle.  Tickets are $40 per person.  Tickets are available from Amador Polar Bear Families, from Coldwell Banker in Jackson, or online at www.amadorpolarbears.com.

Laughton Ranch is located at 90 Clinton Road in Jackson, California.  For more information, please contact Sally Arnst at 209-337-5302.  All proceeds from the Dinner support Amador Polar Bears swim scholarships and equipment upgrades.  Amador Polar Bears is a long-standing community program for competitive youth swimmers.

Willow Springs Restoration Fundraiser Dinner

April 1, 2023 @ 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

The Willow Springs School House Restoration Advisory Council will once again be holding their annual fundraising dinner.  Come enjoy great food while supporting the restoration of the Willow Springs (Little Red) Schoolhouse.  The Dinner will feature tri-tip and chicken dinner, desserts, silent auction, and live dessert auction.

The Willow Springs Restoration Fundraiser Dinner will take place on April 1st, 2023 in the Pokerville Hall at the Amador County Fairgrounds.  Doors open at 5 pm.  Tickets are $60 or purchase a table of 8 for $500.  Reserving a table comes with the added bonus of a bottle of wine.

Even if you cannot make the dinner, you can still support the Schoolhouse’s restoration.  Donations can be made to the Amador Community Foundation, c/o Willow Springs Restoration, P.O. Box 1154, Jackson, CA 95642.

Ryan Gillaspie for Sheriff

Community First Gillaspie for Sheriff will hold a fundraiser on Friday, February 18th for Ryan Gillaspie for Sheriff.  The Italian pasta dinner will feature mixed greens, Italian chicken cacciatore, and dinner rolls.  Cocktail hour will be start at 5 pm and dinner will start at 6 pm.  In addition to dinner, there will be a silent auction and raffle and live music will be provided by the Slade Rivers Band.  Tickets are $50 per person and payments can be made to paypal.me/GillaspieforSheriff or by Venmo @GillaspieforSheriff2022.

The Ryan Gillaspie for Sheriff fundraiser will take place at the Evalynn Bishop Hall at Howard Park in Ione, California.

AES Cattlewomen Drive Through Dinner

On Friday, November 18th, 2022, come out help support the next generation of ranchers and get a great meal to boot.  The Amador El Dorado Sacramento Cattlewomen’s Association (AES Cattlewomen) will be hosting their 3rd Annual Drive Through Tri-Tip Dinner.  Dinner pickup will be located at the Amador County Fair Grounds Spur Emporium.  Tickets for the dinner are $55 and feature a dinner for 4 that includes Harris Ranch Tri Tip, Salad, Ranch Beans, and Bread.  A dessert table will be available for purchase with donation.  AESCW merchandise including brand blankets, hats, visors, cups, mugs, gloves and wild rags will also be available for purchase to help you get your Christmas shopping started.  Drive-thru pickup of your meal will be between 5 and 6:30 pm.
