On June 7th, the Ione Farmers’ Market will return! You can enjoy locally grown produce, foods prepared by local chefs and cooks, and handmade products from local artisans and craft-persons.  The Ione Farmers’ Market occurs on Wednesdays in June through August from 5 to 8 pm.  The Market will be located at Train Park which is behind the police station on Main Street.

The Ione Farmers Market is produced by the Amador Farmers Market Association.  The Amador Farmers Market Association is a member of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the California Women, Infant, & Children Food Assistant Program (WIC) and they accept payment from both programs.

As the Association says, “Meet your farmer. Enjoy locally-grown foods and flowers. Listen to live music. Get Fresh, Have Fun!”
