Country Line Dance Lessons

The Amador County Recreation Agency (ACRA) offers a second opportunity for you to learn the moves that make everyone take notice at every country club, concert, and hoe down this summer.  Starting June 2nd and continuing every first Thursday of the month, ACRA presents Country Line Dance Lessons at the Castle Oaks Golf Club in Ione.  Lessons begin at 6 pm and are $5.

The Castle Oaks Golf Club is located at 1000 Castle Oaks Drive in Ione, California.  For more information, please call ACRA at 209-223-6359 or email acra@amadorgov.org.  If you’re interested but can’t make the first Thursday, ACRA is offering additional lessons every third Thursday of the month, ACRA will be offering lessons at the Drytown Social Club in Drytown.  For that event page, click here.

Earth Day Celebration

Earth Day is a great time to celebrate our planet and to learn about ways we can help make a difference. Celebrate Earth Day this year at ACRA/ARCD Community Garden.  Help cleanup the garden, take tours of the Heritage Rose Garden, plant a fruit tree, or take home some wildflowers to plant in your own garden.  There will also be a Master Gardner there providing planting advice.

The Earth Day Celebration will take place on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 from 10 am to 2 pm.  The ACRA/ARCD Community Garden is located Chichizola/Cuneo Ranch at 1324 Jackson Gate Rd in Jackson, California.  This event is sponsored by Farms of Amador, the UC Master Gardener Program, the Foothill Conservancy, and the Mother Lode Land Trust.  For more information, please contact the Amador County Recreation Agency (ACRA) at 209-223-6349.
