Songs Without Words

Mother Lode Friends of Music presents Songs Without Words, a special interactive summer concert featuring Dylan Jowell on cello and John Kiunke on piano. The program will include music by Schumann, Fauré, Villa-Lobos, and Debussy, along with new compositions by both performers.
The concert is designed to use instrumental music to tell stories and spark the imagination, with narration and conversation woven into the performance. Jowell and Kiunke perform regularly throughout the Sacramento area and bring a mix of beloved classical works and fresh original music to this Mother Lode Friends of Music concert.
Admission is $20 per person, payable by cash or check at the door.
Songs Without Words takes place Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 4:30 PM at the Sutter Creek Theatre, 44 Main Street in Sutter Creek, CA.
