Shealor Family History

The Kennedy Gold Mine Speaker Series presents Shealor Family History: Discovering 8 Generations in Amador County on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at the Kennedy Mine Change House in Jackson.
Local resident and Amador County Historical Society board member Erika Simmons will share the story of the Shealor family, Amador County pioneer settlers with eight generations of history in the area. Much of this family history had been lost to this branch of the family for decades and is now being rediscovered one piece at a time.
This presentation offers a personal look at local genealogy, family history, and the process of reconnecting with stories from Amador County’s past.
Shealor Family History takes place Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 7 PM at the Kennedy Mine Change House, located at Kennedy Gold Mine, 1127 North Main Street in Jackson, CA.
