Main Street Theatre Works presents Pickleball, a hard-hitting comedy by Jeff Daniels, running Friday and Saturday evenings from June 19 through July 18, 2026, at the Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre in Jackson.
From the creative and offbeat mind of actor and playwright Jeff Daniels, Pickleball takes a satirical look at the fast-growing sport that has captured players across the country. The play follows four below-average pickleball players who get the chance to compete in a local tournament, but first must overcome their limitations, excuses, and personal rivalries in a game where there are no apologies.
Directed by Susan McCandless, this outdoor summer production brings comedy, competition, and plenty of silliness to the Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre. Guests are invited to arrive early, bring a picnic, and enjoy an evening of theatre under the stars.
Pickleball runs Fridays and Saturdays, June 19 through July 18, 2026, at the Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre, 1127 North Main Street in Jackson, CA. Gates open at 6:30 PM for picnics, and the show begins at 8 PM.
