Historic Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival
August 7 @ 4:00 pm – 11:59 pm

The 28th Annual Historic Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival returns Friday, August 7 through Sunday, August 9, 2026, bringing three days of ragtime, early jazz, silent movies, special concerts, and lively music to downtown Sutter Creek.
This beloved Gold Country festival fills Main Street with music across seven venues, creating a relaxed weekend where visitors can enjoy performances, explore local shops, visit restaurants and wine tasting rooms, and take in the charm of one of Amador County’s most historic towns. The festival is known for its welcoming atmosphere, intimate venues, and the chance to experience ragtime and early jazz up close.
Festivities begin Friday afternoon at 4 PM and continue through Sunday afternoon with a finale concert. Special events include two featured concerts, silent movies with live piano accompaniment at Hotel Sutter, open piano time, after-hours jamming, and opportunities to meet performers throughout the weekend.
Event badges are required for most venues, with options available for the full weekend or individual days. A few Main Street locations, including Sina’s Backroads Café, La Mesa Wine Tasting, and Choc-O-Latte, will also offer music without a pass so visitors can enjoy the spirit of the festival while exploring town.
The Historic Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival takes place August 7 through 9, 2026, in downtown Sutter Creek, CA.
Badge pricing includes $125 for an All Events Badge, $60 for Friday, $85 for Saturday All Events with concert, $70 for Saturday without concert, $25 for the Saturday evening concert, $65 for Sunday All Events with concert, $50 for Sunday without concert, and $25 for the Sunday concert.
Badges may be purchased online, by mail, or in town at the beginning of the event. The information table will be located in front of the City Hall Auditorium during the festival.
