Bedbug Challenge 5k Color Run

The Bedbug Challenge 5K Color Run returns homecoming weekend as a fundraiser for Ione Elementary School’s 5th grade science camp. This colorful community run helps support science camp and gives families a fun way to get active together while backing a great local cause.
Pre-registration is $30 for individuals, $70 for a family of up to five, and $10 for each additional family member under 18. Day-of-race pricing is $35 for individuals, $75 for a family of up to five, and $15 for each additional family member under 18.

The Bedbug Challenge takes place Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Castle Oaks Golf Course, 1000 Castle Oaks Drive in Ione, CA. Check-in begins at 6:30 AM and the race starts at 7:30 AM.
