Amador County Fair

The Amador County Fair returns to Plymouth from Thursday, July 30 through Sunday, August 2, 2026, with this year’s theme, More Cowbell! The fair will celebrate California’s living history and America’s 250th with four days of family fun, agricultural exhibits, livestock shows, carnival rides, local food, entertainment, and classic fair traditions.
Fair hours are Thursday and Sunday from 9 AM to midnight, and Friday and Saturday from 9 AM to 1 AM. Thursday is Kid’s Day, with children 12 and under admitted free until 6 PM. Friday is Senior’s Day, with adults 60 and over admitted free until 6 PM. Saturday is Cattleman’s Day, and Sunday is Junior Livestock Auction Day.
Special events include the Hot Rod Truck & Tractor Pulls on Friday, July 31, the CCPRA Rodeo on Saturday, August 1, and the Destruction Derby on Sunday, August 2. The Wine Tasting Event will also take place Friday, July 31, with VIP and general admission options available.
Presale fair admission is $14 for adults ages 13 and up, $10 for juniors ages 7 to 12, and $8 for seniors 60 and over. Children 6 and under are free every day. Presale carnival wristbands are $40, and parking is $7 per day. Presale pricing is available through 11:55 PM on Wednesday, July 29.
