DESCRIPTION:Join the Mother Lode Scots and the Volcano community for the annual Scots Candlelight Walk\, a beloved Mother Lode tradition since 1980. This festive evening brings together locals and visitors alike to celebrate the season of giving with light\, music\, and fellowship. \n\n\n\nCandles will be handed out in front of Armory Hall starting at 4:30 PM\, with the candlelight procession beginning at dusk (approximately 5 PM). Led by bagpipes and flag bearers\, participants will walk through Volcano\, pausing at the church steps for a Gaelic blessing and a moving rendition of “Amazing Grace.” \n\n\n\nAfterward\, everyone is invited back to Armory Hall for a warm gathering featuring hot apple cider\, homemade soups\, stews\, bread\, and desserts. DESCRIPTION:The Volcano Community Association (VCA) presents the 28th Annual Cannonball Run Car Show on July 2nd in Volcano.  Cannonball Run features some of the best classic cars from folks in and around Amador County.  From 6:30 to 9 am\, the show cars will line up along Main Street and Consolation Street.  From 7 to 9 am there will be a community breakfast.  Breakfast tickets are $10 and you can pay at the door.  Starting at 10 am\, the Independence Day Parade will begin followed by a raffle drawing and awards at noon. \nIf you would like to register your car for the show or buy a commemorative T-Shirt\, please visit Cannonball Run’s ticketstripe.com page.  Registration is $25 per car and shirts are $20.  For more information\, please contact Ellie Routt at 209-419-2861 or hydrogirl@sbcglobal.net.
