DESCRIPTION:Enjoy two days of shopping\, history\, and family-friendly fun at the annual Gem & Craft Fair at the historic Kennedy Gold Mine. Set on the scenic lawn grounds\, this popular event brings together a wide variety of arts and crafts vendors offering handcrafted jewelry\, crafted clothing\, woodwork\, lapidary items\, rocks and slabs\, beads and findings\, and much more. \n\n\n\nIn addition to browsing unique\, locally made goods\, visitors can enjoy food and drinks\, take mine tours\, relax in the picnic area\, and explore the historic grounds. The event offers plenty of parking and is handicapped accessible\, making it easy for everyone to attend. \n\n\n\nAdmission for the Gem and Craft Fair is free. \n\n\n\nThe Kennedy Gold Mine Gem & Craft Fair takes place Saturday and Sunday\, May 2–3\, 2026\, from 10 AM to 4 PM each day. The event will be held at the Kennedy Gold Mine\, 12594 Kennedy Mine Road in Jackson\, CA. \n\n\n\nCraft vendors are currently being accepted for the event. SUMMARY:Kennedy Gold Mine Paint & Shoot Month
DESCRIPTION:Kennedy Gold Mine\, with support from the Amador County Arts Council\, welcomes all artists to the Paint & Shoot Month.  For four weekends\, beginning April 30th\, artists and photographers are challenged to use their artistic skills to paint subjects at the Kennedy Gold Mine.  Cash prizes will be awarded for adult and junior divisions and top images will be featured at Kennedy Gold Mine Founders Art & Show Sale.  Entry fee for the competition is $20 but the fee will be waived for students 18 & under.  Competition rules and entry form can be found by clicking here. \nContact Kennedy Gold mine for more information at 209-223-9542 or manager@kennedygoldmine.com.

SUMMARY:Kennedy Gold Mine Amador County Day
DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate the start of the season and take tours of the historic Kennedy Gold Mine.  This is a fantastic opportunity to go back in time and explore the history of our county.  Check out the one ton quartz rock\, watch blacksmithing demonstrations\, and try to push an ore car.  There will also be the opportunity to pan for gold.  The grounds and buildings of the Kennedy Gold Mine will be be open with interpreters to explain the significance of this historic landmark. \nAmador County Day will be held on Saturday March 5th\, 2022.  Events will start at 9:30 am and run through 3 pm.  There will be a BBQ lunch served from 11:30 am to 2 pm.  Guided trail walks will take place at 10:30 am and at 1:00 pm.  Admission is free.  Free tours for Amador and Calaveras residents. \nThe Kennedy Gold Mine is located at 12594 Kennedy Mine Road in Jackson\, California.  For more information call (209) 223-9542 or visit www.kennedygoldmine.com.
