DESCRIPTION:Join Amador Trail Stewardship for the 6th Annual Poppy Pedal\, a community bicycle rally ride through the wildflower-lined backroads of Amador City. This all-ages event offers no-drop rides for every ability level\, with 20-mile\, 15-mile\, and 5-mile route options through some of the most scenic spring countryside in Amador County. \n\n\n\nAfter the ride\, the fun continues with local food\, live music\, local beer and wine\, bicycle games\, and the popular Poppy Poker game\, where riders will have a chance to win one of two new bikes. The day will also include spectator-friendly challenges like bike limbo\, trackstand\, and bunny hop competitions\, along with native plant displays and community booths. \n\n\n\nThe 6th Annual Poppy Pedal takes place Sunday\, April 26\, 2026\, in Amador City. The event runs from 9 AM to 3 PM\, with the ride departing at 10 AM. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, April 27\, 2025\, from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM\, the 5th Annual Poppy Pedal invites riders of all ages and skill levels to gather in Amador City for a relaxed cycling event that winds through scenic backroads and historic spots. Participants can choose between a short\, family-friendly route of around three miles or a longer option of roughly twenty miles\, with both routes offering a mix of paved and dirt roads. Mountain or gravel bikes are encouraged due to occasional bumpy terrain\, though road bikes are still welcome. \n\n\n\nRiders set off rain or shine and are asked to sign a waiver on the day of the event; a suggested donation of ten dollars helps support local trail stewardship. Bike rentals and tune-ups will be available on-site for those who need them\, and a lighthearted Poppy Pedal Poker Run will add an extra element of fun as participants collect cards along the route for a chance at a small prize. After finishing\, visitors can explore the area’s local eateries or stop by the nearby pet adoption booth to meet animals seeking their forever homes. \n\n\n\nThe 5th Annual Poppy Pedal will begin at 14141 Old Route 49 in Amador City\, California\, 95601.
