Celebrate the harvest season at Amador County’s Big Crush Harvest Wine Festival, happening from Saturday, October 5th to Sunday, October 6th, 2024. This annual festival, hosted by the Amador Vintners, provides participants the chance to explore over 45 participating wineries. Enjoy wine tastings, food pairings, live music, and special harvest activities like winery tours, barrel tastings, and witnessing the crush in action.

Tickets range from $50 to $65, with designated driver options for $20 per day. The event runs from 11 AM to 4 PM each day. Upon check-in at your selected starting winery, guests will receive a commemorative wine glass and a map to guide them through the weekend.

Participating wineries include Story Winery, Di Arie, Dobra Zemlja Winery, Helwig Winery, and many more. Amador County Fair

Get ready for another wonderful year of entertainment, exhibits, animals, and great food at the Amador County Fair.  The 2023 fair title, “Zinfandel and Zinnias,” celebrates the award-winning heritage of Amador County viticulture and horticulture.  The fair begins Thursday, July 27th and run through Sunday, July 30th.  Tickets for the fair are $12 for adults ages 13 and older, $7 for juniors ages 7 to 12, and $9 for seniors (60 & Over).  Tickets can be purchased at the fairs ticket website or at the gate.

The fair will feature a number of ticketed entertainment and cultural events including the 2023 Hot Rod Truck Pulls on July 28th, a CCPRA Rodeo on July 29th, and the always popular Destruction Derby on July, 30th.  Also at the fair will be a wine tasting event and the kid favorite, carnival wrist band.  For more information about each and to purchase tickets, click here.
