Freedom Fest

Plymouth Community Church will be sponsoring an afternoon of fun all to raise money for a good cause. Join the Church on July 22, 2023 from Noon to 4 pm for Freedom Fest. There will be a car show, live music, hot dogs and drinks, a silent auction, and more.

All proceeds from Freedom Fest will go to support Help for the Holidays, a free shopping event for Christmas for families in need right here in Amador County.

Freedom Fest will be held at the Plymouth Community Church, 18519 Poplar Street in Plymouth.

The Spaghetti Western

The Spaghetti Western is back and in-person!  For the past 15 years, whether in-person or drive-thru for COVID years, the Spaghetti Western has been raising money for the fabulous work of the Amador Cancer Research Foundation.  This year, for the 16th annual, will be no different. 

The Spaghetti Western will held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Cooper Vineyards in Plymouth.  KCRA’s Teo Torres and Tamara Berg will be the MC’s for the evening.  Dinner will feature tri-tip, spaghetti, garlic rolls, salad, and a dessert.  Wine will be available for purchase at the event.  Entertainment will be provided by the Slade Rivers Band.

Tickets for the Spaghetti Western are $55. Children, 12 and under, are $10.  Tables for 8 can be reserved for $500 and Tables for 10 are available for $600.  You can find tickets as well as the ability to make a donation to the Amador Cancer Research Foundation at their Eventbright page.  Please hurry as tickets are limited and ticket sales will end at 12 pm (noon) on Monday, June 12th

Plymouth Flea Market

Join the Rotary Club of Passport to Amador and the entire Plymouth community for a day of treasure hunting at the 30th annual Plymouth Flea Market. The Flea Market features a variety of vendors selling vintage and second hand items, including clothing, accessories, home decor, tools, toys, and more.

As always, the Plymouth Flea Market features a community pancake breakfast at City Hall. This year the pancake breakfast will run from 8 to 10 am and will be $14 with a discount for children 8 and under.

Do you have some treasures that you would like to sell? Booths are still available and only $40. Information about booth space can be found at www.plymouthfleamarket.com. For questions, please email plymouthfleamarket@gmail.com.

Admission to the flea market is free and all ages are welcome. The flea market will be located on Main Street in Plymouth, California.

Willow Springs Schoolhouse Open House

Come tour this historic little schoolhouse that you pass by all the time but probably have never been in. The Willow Springs Restoration Committee has been busy at work restoring this old school. Come see their program and learn about their plans for the future. Everyone is welcome.

The Willow Springs Schoolhouse is located at 16795 Demartini Road in Plymouth, California. The Schoolhouse will be open from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, December 21st, 2022.

One of the truly great experiences of Amador County, especially if you have kids, is the Saturday Trick or Treating at the 49er Village RV Resort.  This Plymouth tradition is open to the public and little ghosts, witches, and ghouls come from miles around.  But the guests at 49er RV Village have just as much fun by decorating their RVs, creating haunted houses, and making sure their is something special for mom and dad as well.  This year Halloween will be all October long with expanded trick or treating on each Saturday in October.  Trick or treating is from 6 to 8 pm and no vehicle traffic is allowed in the park during this time.  Admission is still just $5 or a bag of candy.
