Presented by the Ione Business and Community Association, the Halloween Parade of Lights is set for October 27th from 6 PM to 8 PM on Main Street in Ione! Enter your lighted creation for a chance to win cash prizes—entries can include bicycles, floats, horses, tractors, cars, and more. Once again the sights and sounds of Italy return to Sutter Creek for the 141st Annual Italian Picnic & Parade in June. At the Italian Picnic you’ll find music, food, beer, wine, and Italian culture. Don’t forget the live bands, dancing, and vendor booths. And this year will feature the biggest carnival in Italian Picnic History. Everyday of the Picnic will feature bingo, a salami toss, and cornhole.
On Friday, June 2nd, the Italian Picnic will feature wine tasting from 6 to 9 pm. On Saturday, June 3rd, be sure to get there early for the spaghetti eating contest at 12 pm Noon. The Annual Dinner will occur on Saturday and feature roasted chicken, raviolis, antipasto, salad, bread, desert, and wine. Cocktails start at 6 pm and dinner at 7. Tickets for the Dinner are $35. Be sure to get your tickets early as the dinner always sells out!
Sunday will feature the Grand Parade through Sutter Creek at 10 am. A Tri-Tip BBQ lunch will be back at the Picnic Grounds at noon. A BBQ plate is $15.

Celebrate the birth of the United States with residents of Plymouth. On July 4th at 10:00 am, the City of Plymouth will host their annual 4th of July Parade down Main Street. The parade features trucks, tractors, and trikes. There are no entry fees. If you would like to participate in the parade, assemble on Sherwood Street before 10:00 am.
