Dad & Me ~ Stay ‘N Play!

Calling all dads, uncles and grandpas for fun activities for children ages 0 to 5 years old!  On Saturday, October 29th, 2022 from 10:00 – 12:00 pm, come and play at First 5 Amador’s Outdoor Learning Lab.  The Outdoor Learning Lab has a lot to offer with a sandbox, water table, bike bath, and garden.  This month it’s time for pumpkin themed messy play!  When you come by, the Dad and Me team also has a free children’s book for your kids to enjoy and you can pick some veggies from the garden!

Dads, grandpas, etc. do not need to be present to pick up a kit.  Supplies are limited, and are available to Amador County children on a first-come, first-served basis. One kit per Amador County child, aged 0-5.

Toddler Time Yoga in the park

From 1 to 2 pm on May, 21st, join us for an afternoon of fun. Parents and kiddos will enjoy an active yoga class. Filled with animal and shape yoga poses, a montessori activity circuit, and great music. Aimed towards early childhood development, Priscilla Goddard, E-RYT in Childhood Development Edu, has structured the class to stimulate the body and the mind. Come engage with other families and hopefully make some lasting friendships. Calling all dads, uncles and grandpas for fun activities for children ages 0 to 5 years old!  On Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:00 am, come by to grab a free curbside kit that will allow you to create your own St. Patrick’s Day-themed fun!   When you come by, the Dad and Me team also has a free children’s book for your kids to enjoy! Dads, grandpas, etc. do not need to be present to pick up a kit. Playground will be open for free play, with parent supervision. Supplies are limited, and are available to Amador County children on a first-come, first-served basis. One kit per Amador County child, aged 0-5.

Calling all dads, uncles, grandpas, etc. for fun activities for children 0-5 years old!  On Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 10:00 – 11:00 am, come by to grab a free curbside kit that will allow you to create your own turkeys and have other thankful-themed fun!   When you come by, the Dad and Me team also has a free children’s book for your kids to enjoy! Dads/grandpas, etc. do not need to be present to pick up a kit. Playground will be open for free play, with parent supervision. Supplies are limited, and are available to Amador County children on a first-come, first-served basis. One kit per Amador County child, aged 0-5.

Family, Friend & Neighbor ‘Busy Bags’ Curbside Pick-up

Are you a relative, friend, or neighbor caring for someone else’s young children (nonlicensed)?  On Wednesday, September 29, 2021, pick up your FREE BUSY BAG filled with supplies, and a children’s book, needed to create your own Nocturnal Animals-based activities fun with the children in your care! This free activity kit is filled with supplies needed to create chalk art-themed fun!  This also includes a free children’s book, for your kids to enjoy! Dads/grandpas, etc. do not need to be present to pick up a kit. Playground will be open for free play, with parent supervision. Supplies are limited, and are available to Amador County children on a first-come, first-served basis. One kit per Amador County child, aged 0-5.
