One of the best ways to celebrate Halloween in our County is with the Jackson Lions Club Halloween Parade. This annual event takes place on Halloween, Monday, October 31st. The parade begins at the Jackson Fire House on Main Street. Costume judging begins at 5:00 pm at the Fire House. The Costume Contest will have classes from Pre-School through 8th Grade and prizes will be awarded by age group. At 5:30, the parade begins down Main Street Jackson ending with a free Hot Dog Party at the Jackson Civic Center. There will be candy bags for all!
The Jackson Fire House, where the parade will start, is located at 175 Main Street in Jackson, California. The Jackson Lions Club has been hosting this event since 1965. Even if you don’t have a kiddo for the parade, please be sure to come to watch! For more information, please contact the Parade Chair, Tim Knittel at 209-712-4512 or tim.knittel@edwardjones.com.
