Family Fall Festival 2022

The Sutter Creek Church of the Nazarene presents their Family Fall Festival for 2022.  The festival will be held at the Italian Picnic Grounds on Saturday, October 29th, 2022.  There will be tons of free family-friendly activities to enjoy including carnival booths, pumpkin decorating, hay rides, food, games and more!  To skip the registration line, you can preregister by clicking hereOn the day of the event, simply stop by the pre-registration tent and let us know you’ve arrived.

The Fall Festival begins at 3 pm and ends at 6 pm.  This is a free event!  The Italian Picnic Grounds is located at 581 California Highway 49 in Sutter Creek, California.

Halloween Haunted House

Halloween season is popping in Amador County.  Amador Rec presents their terrifying Halloween Haunted House on the second and third weekends in October.  This annual haunt is located at the Pioneer Veteran’s Hall in Pioneer and is sure to scare you to your bones.   Tickets to enter the haunt are $5 or you can get a punch card for $10 for five times through the haunt.  Doors opens at 5 pm and the Haunted House will terrorize you till 8 pm.

One of the truly great experiences of Amador County, especially if you have kids, is the Saturday Trick or Treating at the 49er Village RV Resort.  This Plymouth tradition is open to the public and little ghosts, witches, and ghouls come from miles around.  But the guests at 49er RV Village have just as much fun by decorating their RVs, creating haunted houses, and making sure their is something special for mom and dad as well.  This year Halloween will be all October long with expanded trick or treating on each Saturday in October.  Trick or treating is from 6 to 8 pm and no vehicle traffic is allowed in the park during this time.  Admission is still just $5 or a bag of candy.
