Tony Furtado with Luke Price

Come down to Fiddletown on Saturday, April 9th for a night of entertainment from Americana recording artist Tony Furtado with special guest Luke Price.  From Wikipedia, Tony is described as:

“an evocative and soulful singer, a wide-ranging songwriter and a virtuoso multi-instrumentalist adept on banjo, cello-banjo, slide guitar and baritone ukulele who mixes and matches sounds and styles with the flair of a master chef. Comparisons to Ry Cooder were rooted in Furtado’s combination of jazz, Celtic, and old-time music. On his third album, Full Circle (1994) he concentrated on acoustic blues and slide guitar, with Cooder as an influence.”

Luke is a 2-time National Fiddle champion and is a noted teacher of the fiddle at Lewis & Clark College in Portland.

Tony and Luke will be performing at the Fiddletown Community Center.  The Community Center is located at 14445 Fiddletown Rd. in Fiddletown, California.  Doors open at 7 pm and the show begins at 8.  Advanced tickets are $20 and tickets at the door are $25.  To purchase tickets in advance, please visit their Brown Paper Tickets page.
