Get ready for another wonderful year of entertainment, exhibits, animals, and great food at the Amador County Fair. The 2023 fair title, “Zinfandel and Zinnias,” celebrates the award-winning heritage of Amador County viticulture and horticulture. The fair begins Thursday, July 27th and run through Sunday, July 30th. Tickets for the fair are $12 for adults ages 13 and older, $7 for juniors ages 7 to 12, and $9 for seniors (60 & Over). Tickets can be purchased at the fairs ticket website or at the gate.
The fair will feature a number of ticketed entertainment and cultural events including the 2023 Hot Rod Truck Pulls on July 28th, a CCPRA Rodeo on July 29th, and the always popular Destruction Derby on July, 30th. Of course, the fair will also have all the competitions you’ve come to love including creative arts, fine arts, photography, and horticulture. There will also be animal displays from 4-H, FFA, and open divisions. Amador County Fair also features both a Miss Amador competition and a rodeo queen competition. And if you have any little wranglers in the family, you’ll want to make sure they enter the Mutton Bustin’ Competition.
