Santa Claus at Castle Oaks

Bring the kiddies and come out and get your holiday pictures with Santa Clause at the Castle Oaks Golf Club in Ione.  Santa Clause will be at Castle Oaks for three Saturdays in December.  On December 4th, 2021, Santa will be available for pictures from 1 to 2 pm.  On both December 11th and 18th, Santa will be available for pictures from 6 to 7 pm.

Coming to Main Street in Sutter Creek for 3 nights in December, join in the celebration of the holiday season.  Stores all along main street will decorate their entry ways.  Walk through Sutter Creek to enjoy the lights and shop local at all the amazing stores.

Plymouth Christmas Market

Come out and get the holiday season kicked off right by visiting Plymouth’s Christmas Market.  The Market will take place on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022 from 11 am to 4 pm.  There will be lots going on at this year’s Market from live music featuring the Albertson Duo, local vendors with amazing items for each person on your Christmas list.  Santa Claus will be be there as well as free horse and buggy rides.  There will also be be food, local wines and beer, hot cider, cocoa, and mulled wine for purchase.  Don’t forget the free crafts for the kiddos.

Christmas Boutique

Are you looking for that unique gift for the person that is hard to shop for?  Do you want to give something different this year?  Do you want to support your local artists and craftsperson?  If so, join the Grace Fellowship’s Women’s Ministry for their 5th Annual Christmas Boutique.  The Christmas Boutique will be held November 13, 2021 from 10 am to 3 pm at Grace Fellowship Church in Jackson.  Don’t wait for those Black Friday sales.  Get your shopping out of the way so you can be relaxed this Thanksgiving.  The Christmas Boutique will feature local artists, artisans, handmade items and door prizes.  A continental breakfast as well as lunch will be available for purchase.

The Nativity Play Goes Wrong!

Join the Cornerstone Church of Ione for their annual dinner theatre.  This year’s production is “The Nativity Play Goes Wrong!,” a play by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayers, and Henry Shields and adapted by Jim Garfinkle.  The Nativity Play Goes Wrong! will be presented over five evenings between December 14th through the 18th.  Doors open at 5:30 pm and the event begins at 6 pm with dinner being served.  Seating is first come, first served.  Dinner will be Chicken Scallopini, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and dessert.

Tickets for the production are $25 for adults and $12 for kids.  Wednesday, December 15th will be Kids Night.  On Kids Night, adult tickets will be $16 and kid tickets will be just $10.  Kids Night will be a little more informal and pizza will be served as the main course.
