Join the spectacular fundraising dinner event in support of Amador STARS on Saturday, August 10th, 2024, from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm in Volcano, CA! ✨ “An Evening Under the Stars for our Amador Stars” ✨ promises a night filled with delectable food, fine wine, refreshing beer, live music, exciting raffles, and a thrilling auction—all for a truly worthy cause.

Experience a gourmet dining experience under the stars, featuring a selection of dishes crafted by Chef Erik Gutierrez from the Volcano Union Inn. Enjoy live music performances throughout the evening and dance the night away under the beautiful night sky.

Participate in raffle draws for a chance to win incredible prizes or cash, with options to suit everyone. Additionally, bid on exclusive items and experiences—from travel getaways to unique gifts. The possibilities are endless, and every bid goes towards supporting Amador STARS.

Band Against Cancer

Band Against Cancer is an annual event that raises money for Amador STARS, a non-profit based right here in Amador County that provides support, transportation, and other resources for those that are dealing with cancer. This year, the event will be held on Saturday, September 10th, 2022 at the Italian Picnic Grounds in Sutter Creek, California.

The event will feature live music from local bands including The Boxhorns, Triple Threat, Mike Rolf, Teal Wheels, and The Blowbacks.  Also on hand, dunk your local firefighters in a dunk tank.  There will be a Paint n’ Sip, luminary ceremony, as well as jewelry, weaving demonstration, corn hole tournament, quilt show, and so much more.  And don’t forget all the great food available for purchase from local restaurants and caters including Wing It, Ione Tacos, Coffee Tree, and She’s So Charcuterie.

In addition, there will also be a special event called Sip & Taste with the STARS from 3 to 6 pm where you’ll have the opportunity to try small bites and local Amador wines & brews.  Tickets for the Sip & Taste are $30 per person and you must be 21 years of age or older.

70s & 80s Time Warp Tribute Concert

Relive the summer sounds of the 70’s and 80’s and enjoy a night out with great music, food, and drinks to support Amador STARS.  On August 14th, 2021 at the Italian Picnic Grounds in Sutter Creek, California, Amador STARS and Harrah’s Northern California present 70s & 80s Time Warp Tribute Concert, A Tribute to Tom Petty featuring Petty…or Not.  Gates will open at 4:00 pm.  Daniel Martz and Sound by Design will play from 4:30 to 7:00 pm and then the headliner, Petty…or Not will be on from 7:30 to 9:30 pm.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase including tri-tip sandwiches from the Jackson Fire Department, the Styemist Hot Dog Cart, and the Pokerville Cross Over Kitchen.  Also featured will be Amador Wines as well as beer, soda, iced tea, lemonade and water.  Baskin-Robbins will also be selling ice cream.  Bring your lawn chairs but please no outside food or drink.
