Mother Lode Land Trust Harvest Festival

The Mother Lode Land Trust invites you to their third annual Harvest Festival this October 19th.  The Harvest Festival will feature face painting, balloon animals, games, and candy.  Grove to live music and pick up some pumpkins for sale, get a jump on holiday shopping at the makers market featuring local makers and artists, and pick up some tasty treats from the Coffee Tree or Wok & Roll.

49er 5k/10k run/walk

Start loosening your glutes, as the Amador County Recreation Agency (ACAR) presents the 49er 5k/10k run/walk on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 in Amador City. ACAR presents great programs in our community and this run/walk will help raise money for additional recreation programs in the community.

In order to participation, ACAR requests that you please register by Saturday, May 13th. The 10k is $35 for adults and $30 for youth and the 5k is $25 for adults and $20 for youth. More information can be had by visiting amadorrec.com or by calling 209-223-6349.

Do you know how to electric slide?  Can you do the cowboy cha cha?  How about that ol’ tush push?  Well if you don’t and want to learn (or just want to freshen up your moves), put your boots on and head on down to the Drytown Social Club to learn some new dance moves for the country club.  Amador County Recreation Agency (ACRA) presents Country Line Dance Lessons, now, first Thursday of the month.  Lessons begin at 6 pm, last one hour, and are $5.  This is open to all levels.

Halloween season is popping in Amador County.  Amador Rec presents their terrifying Halloween Haunted House on the second and third weekends in October.  This annual haunt is located at the Pioneer Veteran’s Hall in Pioneer and is sure to scare you to your bones.   Tickets to enter the haunt are $5 or you can get a punch card for $10 for five times through the haunt.  Doors opens at 5 pm and the Haunted House will terrorize you till 8 pm.

Haunted House dates are October 7th and 8th and the 14th and 15th.  The Pioneer Veteran’s Hall is located at 25100 Buckhorn Ridge Road in Pioneer, California.  Have questions?  ACRA is dying to answer them.  Call them at 209-223-6349.

Castle Oaks Family Fun Night

The Amador County Recreation Agency presents Family Fun Night on Saturday, October 15th at Castle Oaks Golf Course in Ione.  The Family Fun Night will feature Family bingo, glow golf, trivia, prizes, and much more!  The Family Fun Night will begin at 5 and end at 8 pm and will be held in the Caddy’s Restaurant in Castle Oaks.  Tickets for the Family Fun Night will be $25 and adults are $30.  Both tickets include a meal.  This is going to be amazing fun for the whole family so make sure you are there!
