Maybe you would like to learn about local agriculture and where all that great beef in our supermarkets come from. Here is your opportunity. The Cattlemen’s Jackpot Steer and Heifer show is coming to the Amador County Fairgrounds in Plymouth on Saturday and Sunday, March 5th and 6th, 2022. This is a great opportunity for local cattlemen to show off their cattle and compete for some great prizes, which include cash, belt buckles, and more. The show is open to all breeds of cattle, and there are different categories for steers and heifers. Saturday is the breeding heifer show and Sunday is the steer and market heifer show. Come out and support your local cattlemen on the first weekend in March. The Cattlemen’s Jackpot Steer and Heifer show is sponsored by the Amador-El Dorado-Sacramento Cattlemen’s Association.
The Amador County Fairgrounds is located at 18621 Sherwood Street in Plymouth, California. For more information about the Show, contact Jim Vietheer at 916-687-7620 or visit the Show’s website.
