Amador County Fair

Get ready for another wonderful year of entertainment, exhibits, animals, and great food at the Amador County Fair.  The 2023 fair title, “Zinfandel and Zinnias,” celebrates the award-winning heritage of Amador County viticulture and horticulture.  The fair begins Thursday, July 27th and run through Sunday, July 30th.  Tickets for the fair are $12 for adults ages 13 and older, $7 for juniors ages 7 to 12, and $9 for seniors (60 & Over).  Tickets can be purchased at the fairs ticket website or at the gate.

The fair will feature a number of ticketed entertainment and cultural events including the 2023 Hot Rod Truck Pulls on July 28th, a CCPRA Rodeo on July 29th, and the always popular Destruction Derby on July, 30th.  Also at the fair will be a wine tasting event and the kid favorite, carnival wrist band.  For more information about each and to purchase tickets, click here.

Amador County Fair Kick-Off BBQ

July 15, 2023 @ 5:30 pm 10:00 pm

On July 15th 2023, The Amador County Fair Foundation will kick-off the Amador County Fair with the 14th Annual Fair Kick-Off BBQ.  The BBQ will run from 5:30 to 10:00 pm at Picnic Hill on the Amador County Fairgrounds.  The BBQ Dinner will be provided by Farmhouse Barbeque and will include tri-tip and BBQ chicken, ranch beans, pesto pasta, green salad, and garlic bread.  A no-host bar will also be available as well as a dessert auction and a raffle to support the Amador County Fair Foundation.

Tickets for adults are $30 each and tickets for youth, ages 7 – 12 are $12.  Kids ages 6 and under are $5 and can be purchased by clicking here.  Amador County Fair Foundation (ACFF) Life Members and 2022 Grand Champion Members receive 2 complementary tickets to the Kick-Off BBQ.  The ACFF provides support for the fairgrounds and educational projects of the Amador County Fair.  For more information and to become a member, you can join by clicking here.  For more information, please visit the Fair’s website or call 209-245-6921.
