Ione Police Foundation Fundraising Dinner

The Ione Police Foundation presents the 7th Annual Fundraising Dinner to benefit the Ione Police Department.  The Dinner will take place on Saturday October 1st, 2022 at the Evalynn Bishop Hall at Charles Howard Park in Ione.  Prior to the dinner will be a no-host bar starting at 5:30 pm with the dinner beginning at 6:30.  This is going to be a wonderful dinner catered by Motherlode Deli featuring grilled beef tri-tip, grilled chicken breast, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, spring salad mix and garlic bread.  Don’t forget to bring your checkbook to support the Police Department by buying raffle tickets and bidding on the live and silent auctions.

The Evalynn Bishop Hall is located at 701 California Highway 124 in Ione, California.  Tickets to the Fundraising Dinner are $40 per person or you can get a table of 10 for $350.  For tickets or for more information, please contact any Ione Police Officer, stop by the Ione City Hall or call 209-304-5101.

Meet the Candidates

On April 21, 2022 from 6 to 8 pm, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the candidates for Amador County Sheriff as well as District 3 and District 5 Supervisor.  Meet the Candidates is being facilitated by Kathleen Harmon, the Executive Director of the Amador Community Foundation.  Questions from the audience will be accepted.

Meet the Candidates will take place at the Pine Grove Town Hall.  The Pine Grove Town Hall is located at 19889 California Highway 88 in Pine Grove, California.  Meet the Candidates is being sponsored by the Amador Branch of the American Association of University Women, the Foothill Conservancy, and the Pine Grove Civic Improvement Club.

Amador Giving Tuesday

Come learn about all the wonderful activities the non-profit organizations of Amador County provide to our community at the 7th Annual Amador County Giving Tuesday Event.  Giving Tuesday will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 pm on Tuesday, November 30th, 2021 at the Katherine Drexel Parish in Jackson.  Meet and greet over fifty amazing nonprofits support the quality of life in Amador County.  Giving Tuesday is a free event and refreshments will be served.  And if you cannot make the event, you can give online all day on November 30th at giveamador.org.
