Visit Amador City welcomes you to another season of Dancin’ In The Street happening on the streets of historic Amador City, California.  Dancin’ in the Street features the best bands of the region delivering an eclectic mix of tunes while sections of Main Street in Amador City are shut off so you can dance right on the street.  Also enjoy great food, shopping, and activities throughout the city.

The 2023 dates are Saturdays, June 24th, July 1st, July 8th, July 15th, and July 22nd.  Concerts will run from 6 to 9 pm.  Follow Visit Amador City on Facebook and Instagram for more information about performing bands and special appearances.  Also check out visitamadorcity.com for information about Visit Amador City and all the wonderful events happening in Amador City throughout the year.

49er 5k/10k run/walk

Start loosening your glutes, as the Amador County Recreation Agency (ACAR) presents the 49er 5k/10k run/walk on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 in Amador City. ACAR presents great programs in our community and this run/walk will help raise money for additional recreation programs in the community.

In order to participation, ACAR requests that you please register by Saturday, May 13th. The 10k is $35 for adults and $30 for youth and the 5k is $25 for adults and $20 for youth. More information can be had by visiting amadorrec.com or by calling 209-223-6349.

Amapola – Spring Arts Festival

The Amador City Business and Community Association presents Amapola, April 23rd and 24th, 2022 at Amador City, CA.  Amapola is a spring arts festival featuring the best of Amador City’s many shops, restaurants, tasting rooms and other businesses.  The festival and all the featured artists, craft vendors, and musicians  will be inspired by the California Poppy, California’s state flower and a local star.  Come check out all the entertainment, shopping, and great food from noon to 5 each day including balloon animals at Davenport Properties, poppy seed cookies at Holgate Hill, live painting at Dreamy Whites, poppy punch at Alley + Main, tours of the Whitney Museum, and so much more!

This event benefit’s the Amador City Business & Community Association’s (ACBCA) scholarship fund, given to a local High School student who intends to pursue a career in the arts.
