DESCRIPTION:Preston Castle is recruiting volunteers to help design and build the 2025 Preston Castle Haunt\, offering a chance to turn creative concepts into full-scale sets inside Northern California’s only “real” haunted castle. The project needs people with building\, set-design\, prop-making\, or general craft skills; no prior haunt experience is required\, only an interest in teamwork and safe construction practices. \n\n\n\nAn orientation and planning session will be held on Sunday\, May 4\, 2025\, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Attendees will meet the build leads\, review safety guidelines\, and tour the castle at 2:00 PM or 3:30 PM to see where their ideas could take shape. Volunteers must be at least thirteen years old. \n\n\n\nThe gathering takes place at Preston Castle\, 900 Palm Drive\, Ione\, CA 95640. Preston Castle Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; service hours may qualify for community-service credit. SUMMARY:Christmas at the Castle
DESCRIPTION:The Preston Castle will be hosting their annual craft faire\, on Saturday December 10th from 10 am to 4 pm.  Come get that special gift as over 40 vendors are expected to be there selling everything from arts and crafts to jewelry to other unique gift items just in time for Christmas.  And you won’t leave hungry as there will be several food trucks there with holiday treats.  Most important for the kids\, Santa Clause will be available for pictures between 11 am and 2 pm.   \n\n\n\nIf that wasn’t all\, there are also tours available of the Castle’s first and second floors.  The Tours are $10 but admission to the craft faire is free!  This event is rain or shine. \n\n\n\nPreston Castle is located 900 Palm Drive in Ione\, California.
