SUMMARY:Gold Country Wildlife & Habitat Annual Fair
DESCRIPTION:The Gold Country Wildlife & Habitat Annual Fair will take place on Saturday\, September 12\, 2026\, at Kennedy Mine in Jackson. This first annual event brings together Amador\, Calaveras\, and Tuolumne Counties to celebrate the wildlife\, pollinators\, native plants\, and natural habitats found throughout California’s Gold Country. \n\n\n\nThe fair will feature family-friendly activities\, engaging presentations\, live demonstrations\, informational booths\, food\, music\, and hands-on learning opportunities. Guests can learn from local experts about pollinators\, birds\, native plants\, conservation\, and simple ways to support wildlife habitat at home. \n\n\n\nThe event will also feature a Wildlife & Habitat Photo Contest highlighting the natural landscapes\, wildlife\, residents\, and industries of the Central Sierra. Winners will be selected in two categories: youth\, ages 18 and under\, and adults\, ages 18 and over. The top 10 photos\, with five from each category\, will be displayed at the fair.
