DESCRIPTION:Amador Arts’ TGIF Music Concert Series returns for its 28th season in 2026\, bringing free summer concerts to outdoor venues across Amador County. This longtime local tradition invites the community to gather for live music\, picnicking\, and family-friendly fun in scenic settings throughout the county. \n\n\n\nConcerts take place on select Fridays from May 15 through August 14\, 2026\, from 6 PM to 8 PM. The 2026 lineup includes: \n\n\n\nMay 15 – Stealing the Covers at Kennedy Gold MineMay 22 – The Roomshakers at C&C RanchMay 29 – Triple Threat with DJ Ison at the Amador County FairgroundsJune 12 – The Blowbacks at Domenico WineryJune 26 – The Teal Wheels in Amador CityJuly 10 – Route 88 at Cribbs Field in Sutter CreekJuly 17 – Doppelganger at Kennedy Gold MineJuly 24 – Double Take at C&C RanchAugust 7 – Herb Boxhorn and the Jump Jive at Volcano AmphitheatreAugust 14 – Hwy49 at Bella Grace Vineyards & Cave \n\n\n\nTGIF concerts are free to attend and are made possible through local donations\, sponsorships\, and volunteers. DESCRIPTION:Main Street Theatre Works presents Wonder of the World\, a zany comedy by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire\, running Friday and Saturday evenings from August 7 through September 5\, 2026\, at the Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre in Jackson. \n\n\n\nDirected by John Ewing\, Wonder of the World follows Cass after she discovers a shocking secret about her husband and decides to leave her marriage behind. Her journey takes her to Niagara Falls\, where she sets out to start over and check off everything on her bucket list. Along the way\, she encounters a wildly unusual cast of characters\, including a lonely tour-boat captain\, a pair of bumbling private investigators\, a moonlighting therapist\, and others who help turn her escape into a comedy of epic proportions. \n\n\n\nGuests are invited to arrive early\, bring a picnic\, and enjoy an evening of outdoor theatre under the stars. \n\n\n\nWonder of the World runs Fridays and Saturdays\, August 7 through September 5\, 2026\, at the Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre\, 1127 North Main Street in Jackson\, CA. Gates open at 6:30 PM for picnics\, and the show begins at 8 PM. \n\n\n\nTickets are $25 for general admission\, $20 for seniors 65 and older\, and $15 for youth 18 and under.
