DESCRIPTION:Join the Jackson Lions Club for the first annual Green & Gold Gala\, an elegant evening of community\, celebration\, and giving back. Guests will enjoy a plated surf and turf dinner\, along with raffles\, silent and live auctions\, and a dessert auction. \n\n\n\nThe Argonaut Student Leadership Program will assist in hosting the event and is honored to be recognized as a beneficiary of the gala’s proceeds. \n\n\n\nTickets are $75 per person. Recommended attire is semi-formal in black\, green\, and gold. \n\n\n\nThe Green & Gold Gala takes place on Saturday\, February 7th\, 2026 at the Saint Sava Mission at 604 Mission Blvd. in Jackson. DESCRIPTION:Give your garden a little love this Valentine’s Day at the Valentine’s Day Rose Pruning Workshop hosted by UC Master Gardeners of Amador County. This hands-on class will teach you how and when to prune different types of roses\, what tools are truly needed and how to care for them\, how to train climbing roses for a beautiful display\, and how proper pruning helps roses grow stronger\, healthier\, and bloom more beautifully. Participants are encouraged to bring their own potted roses to practice pruning techniques during demonstrations. \n\n\n\nThe Valentine’s Day Rose Pruning Workshop will be located at the GSA Building located at 12200-B Airport Road in Jackson.
