DESCRIPTION:The Third Annual Ione Car Show returns to downtown Ione for a free family-friendly day of cars\, trucks\, music\, and community fun. Hosted by the Ione Business and Community Association\, the event will feature vehicles along Main Street\, with additional cars also showing at Preston Castle. \n\n\n\nAdmission is free for spectators. Car registration details are expected soon\, with early bird registration available March 1 through May 1 for $40\, and registration from May 2 through June 1 for $50. No late entries will be accepted after June 1\, and there will be no same-day registration. Space is limited to 160 cars downtown\, with first-come\, first-served space for up to 20 vehicles from the 1920s through 1940s at Preston Castle. \n\n\n\nThe Third Annual Ione Car Show takes place Saturday\, June 20\, 2026\, from 9 AM to 3 PM on Main Street in downtown Ione\, CA.

You can enjoy locally grown produce\, foods prepared by local chefs and cooks\, and handmade products from local artisans and craft-persons.  The Ione Farmers’ Market occurs on Wednesdays in June through July from 5 to 8 pm.  The Market will be located at Train Park which is behind the police station on Main Street. \n\n\n\nThe Ione Farmers Market is produced by the Amador Farmers Market Association.  The Amador Farmers Market Association is a member of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the California Women\, Infant\, & Children Food Assistant Program (WIC) and they accept payment from both programs. \n\n\n\nAs the Association says\, “Meet your farmer. Enjoy locally-grown foods and flowers. Listen to live music.
