DESCRIPTION:Step into the Roaring ’20s for an interactive Murder Mystery Dinner\, Death of a Gangster\, hosted by the Fiddletown Community Center. This immersive theater experience invites guests to a mafia wedding gone wrong\, where secrets\, power struggles\, and murder are all part of the evening’s entertainment. \n\n\n\nThe night begins with a champagne reception and passed appetizers as guests mingle—possibly with the culprit—followed by a three-course dinner inspired by the era. As the story unfolds\, you’ll work alongside fellow guests to solve the mystery in this fun and engaging theatrical event. \n\n\n\nGuests are encouraged to dress for the occasion with flapper dresses\, zoot suits\, feather boas\, pinstriped suits\, and fedoras\, though traditional wedding attire is also welcome. \n\n\n\nThis is an adult-only event (18+). Beer\, wine\, and bubbles will be available for purchase. Outside food and beverages are not allowed\, with the exception of wine (corkage fee applies). \n\n\n\nTickets must be purchased in advance and are limited to 80 guests. No tickets will be sold at the door. DESCRIPTION:“Burn Your Own” returns on Saturday\, June 7\, 2025\, when Amador Fire and the Fiddletown Community Center team up for an evening barbecue at Fire Station 123 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Volunteer firefighters will handle the grills while guests choose either a grass-fed rib-eye steak or a Swingles chicken sausage\, then fill their plates with coleslaw\, Mexican-style street-corn salad\, pasta salad\, Gold Miner baked beans\, and dessert. Beer\, wine\, and other beverages will be sold on site\, gluten-free options are available\, and guitarist Javier Dillen will provide live music throughout the meal. \n\n\n\nEarly-bird tickets\, available online\, are $23 for ages 12 and up\, $12 for ages 4–11\, and free for children three and under; tickets purchased at the door are $25. All proceeds support the Community Center’s work to preserve Fiddletown’s historic hall and strengthen local programs. Fire Station 123 is located at 14410 Jibboom Street\, Fiddletown\, CA 95629.
