DESCRIPTION:The 24th Annual Turkey Trot will take place Thanksgiving morning\, Thursday\, November 26\, 2026\, at Lake Tabeaud east of Jackson\, with proceeds and food donations benefiting the Interfaith Food Bank. \n\n\n\nParticipants can choose a 2.7-mile walk/run around the lake or complete two laps for a 5.4-mile route. Rather than an entry fee\, participants are encouraged to make a monetary donation or bring a bag of non-perishable groceries. Holiday foods and treats such as stuffing and hot chocolate are also welcome. \n\n\n\nThe Turkey Trot begins at 8 AM at Lake Tabeaud\, Tabeaud Road in Jackson\, CA 95642\, approximately six miles east of Jackson. Carpooling is encouraged. Participants are asked not to park in the driveway east of the lake entrance leading to Pagham Star Ranch.

The Festival of Trees will be in the Historic Krabbenhoft Building located at 204 N. Main Street in Jackson. \n\n\n\nAnd while you’re visiting the Christmas Delights and the Festival of Trees\, check out the Tunnel of Lights located on the footbridge next to the National Hotel.  This year’s expanded display features thousands more lights illuminating the bridge and surrounding area\, perfect for evening walks and festive photo opportunities.   \n\n\n\nThe Tunnel of Lights will run every evening from November 27th through December 31st.

Christmas Delights continues from 6 PM to 9 PM with another evening of shopping\, dining\, carriage rides\, Santa visits\, holiday displays\, and family activities throughout downtown. \n\n\n\nChristmas Delights takes place Friday\, November 27\, and Saturday\, November 28\, along Main Street in Jackson.
