SUMMARY:70s & 80s Time Warp Tribute Concert
DESCRIPTION:Relive the summer sounds of the 70’s and 80’s and enjoy a night out with great music\, food\, and drinks to support Amador STARS.  On August 14th\, 2021 at the Italian Picnic Grounds in Sutter Creek\, California\, Amador STARS and Harrah’s Northern California present 70s & 80s Time Warp Tribute Concert\, A Tribute to Tom Petty featuring Petty…or Not.  Gates will open at 4:00 pm.  Daniel Martz and Sound by Design will play from 4:30 to 7:00 pm and then the headliner\, Petty…or Not will be on from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. \nFood and beverages will be available for purchase including tri-tip sandwiches from the Jackson Fire Department\, the Styemist Hot Dog Cart\, and the Pokerville Cross Over Kitchen.  Also featured will be Amador Wines as well as beer\, soda\, iced tea\, lemonade and water.  Baskin-Robbins will also be selling ice cream.  Bring your lawn chairs but please no outside food or drink. \nTickets are $20 and can be purchased by clicking here.  For more information\, please visit www.amadorstars.org or call 209-267-1246. \nAmador STARS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides cancer support\, transportation\, and resource services.

DESCRIPTION:Main Street Theatre Works presents their 2021 Summer Season performances at the Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre in Jackson\, California.  On Fridays and Saturdays from August 6th through September 4th\, 2021\, Main Street Theatre Works will present A Little Murder Never Hurt Anybody\, written by Ron Bernas and directed by Shawn B. O’Neal. \nFrom Main Street Theatre Works’ website: \nA Little Murder Never Hurt Anybody\, pays homage to the screwball comedies of the 1930s. The story centers around New Year’s Eve at the Perry mansion\, where Matthew Perry and his wife\, Julia\, divulge their New Year’s Resolutions ~ his is to kill her before the year is up\, and hers is to stay alive through the year so she can attend their daughter Bunny’s wedding. But as Julia dodges Matthew’s murder attempts\, several friends and staff mysteriously die on the family estate. Enter Detective Plotnik – a Sam Spade reincarnation who suspects everyone but hasn’t got a clue. As the bodies fall\, it seems that Matthew is responsible for murdering everyone except his wife. DESCRIPTION:Main Street Theatre Works presents their 2021 Summer Season performances at the Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre in Jackson\, California.  On Fridays and Saturdays from June 18th through July 17th\, 2021\, Main Street Theatre Works will present Kong’s Night Out\, written by Jack Neary and directed by Allen Pontes. \nFrom Main Street Theatre Works’ website: \nThis is the story of what happened in the hotel room\, next to the hotel room where Ann (played by Fay Wray in the 1933 movie) was whisked out into the Manhattan night by King Kong. As low-end Broadway producer Myron Siegel is getting ready to open his latest production\, Foxy Felicia\, Myron finds out that his rival is going to open\, directly across the street\, a very big show\, with a very big monkey!
