SUMMARY:A Little Murder Never Hurt Anybody
DESCRIPTION:Main Street Theatre Works presents their 2021 Summer Season performances at the Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre in Jackson\, California.  On Fridays and Saturdays from August 6th through September 4th\, 2021\, Main Street Theatre Works will present A Little Murder Never Hurt Anybody\, written by Ron Bernas and directed by Shawn B. O’Neal. \nFrom Main Street Theatre Works’ website: \nA Little Murder Never Hurt Anybody\, pays homage to the screwball comedies of the 1930s. The story centers around New Year’s Eve at the Perry mansion\, where Matthew Perry and his wife\, Julia\, divulge their New Year’s Resolutions ~ his is to kill her before the year is up\, and hers is to stay alive through the year so she can attend their daughter Bunny’s wedding. But as Julia dodges Matthew’s murder attempts\, several friends and staff mysteriously die on the family estate. Enter Detective Plotnik – a Sam Spade reincarnation who suspects everyone but hasn’t got a clue. As the bodies fall\, it seems that Matthew is responsible for murdering everyone except his wife. But if he didn’t do it\, “who done it?” \nGates open at 6:30 pm and the show begins at 8:00 pm.  Advanced tickets are $20 and only available at Main Street Theatre Works’ website at mstw.org/shop.  Senion and youth tickets are also available.  Tickets are also available at the gate. \nThe Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre is located at the Kennedy Goldmine\, 1127 North Main Street in Jackson.  For more information\, please contact Main Street Theatre Works at 209-295-4499 or visit their website at mstw.org.  You can also check out Main Street Theatre Work’s Facebook page by clicking here. \n
