Volunteer firefighters will handle the grills while guests choose either a grass-fed rib-eye steak or a Swingles chicken sausage\, then fill their plates with coleslaw\, Mexican-style street-corn salad\, pasta salad\, Gold Miner baked beans\, and dessert. Beer\, wine\, and other beverages will be sold on site\, gluten-free options are available\, and guitarist Javier Dillen will provide live music throughout the meal. \n\n\n\nEarly-bird tickets\, available online\, are $23 for ages 12 and up\, $12 for ages 4–11\, and free for children three and under; tickets purchased at the door are $25. Hosted by Gold Country Throwers\, this traditional Highland athletics competition welcomes adult participants of all experience levels to take part in a series of strength-based events. \n\n\n\nMen’s and women’s classes are available\, and beginners are encouraged to register\, no prior experience is required. Competitors must be at least 18 years old and wear a kilt to participate.
