Set in the 1960s during Labor Day weekend at a remote Catskills cottage\, the story follows a newlywed advertising man whose bride disappears on their honeymoon\, only to be replaced by a mysterious woman claiming to be his wife. DESCRIPTION:“Burn Your Own” returns on Saturday\, June 7\, 2025\, when Amador Fire and the Fiddletown Community Center team up for an evening barbecue at Fire Station 123 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Volunteer firefighters will handle the grills while guests choose either a grass-fed rib-eye steak or a Swingles chicken sausage\, then fill their plates with coleslaw\, Mexican-style street-corn salad\, pasta salad\, Gold Miner baked beans\, and dessert. Beer\, wine\, and other beverages will be sold on site\, gluten-free options are available\, and guitarist Javier Dillen will provide live music throughout the meal. \n\n\n\nEarly-bird tickets\, available online\, are $23 for ages 12 and up\, $12 for ages 4–11\, and free for children three and under; tickets purchased at the door are $25. All proceeds support the Community Center’s work to preserve Fiddletown’s historic hall and strengthen local programs. Fire Station 123 is located at 14410 Jibboom Street\, Fiddletown\, CA 95629.
