SUMMARY:Sutter Creek Wine Walk
DESCRIPTION:The Sutter Creek Woman’s Club will present the Sutter Creek Wine Walk on Saturday\, October 17\, 2026\, along historic Main Street in Sutter Creek. \n\n\n\nGuests can stroll through downtown businesses while sampling wines from 15 Amador County wineries\, with an appetizer served at each stop. Admission also includes a decorative wine glass. Participating wineries include Andis\, Cooper\, D’Agostini\, Di Stasio\, Drytown Cellars\, Helwig\, Iron Hub\, Jeff Runquist\, Krissie\, Mellowood\, MFV\, Rancho Victoria\, Rombauer\, Vino Tahoe\, and Wine Tree Farm. \n\n\n\nThe Wine Walk runs from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM and is limited to 300 guests. Participants must be 21 or older\, and pets are not permitted. Tickets are $55 when purchased in person or $57 online\, including the online convenience fee. \n\n\n\nTickets are available at the Sutter Creek Visitor Center\, 71A Main Street; The Music Box Company\, 64 Main Street; or online at https://suttercreek.org/ and https://www.amadorcommunityfoundation.org/event/sutter-creek-wine-walk-2026/. DESCRIPTION:Preston Castle will open its doors for its annual Halloween Haunt on October 9\, 10\, 16\, 17\, 23\, and 24\, 2026\, in Ione. \n\n\n\nThis nighttime walkthrough transforms the historic Preston Castle into a haunted attraction filled with eerie scenes\, surprises\, and scares throughout the building. The approximately 30-minute experience is open to all ages\, although organizers caution that it may be too intense for younger children. Food vendors and Haunt merchandise will also be available. \n\n\n\nGeneral admission is $35\, with entry periods from 7 PM to 8:30 PM or 8:30 PM to 10 PM. VIP admission is $50 and may be used anytime between 7 PM and 10 PM\, with access to a shorter line after security. Gates open at 6:45 PM for the first entry period and close at 10 PM.
