This free community event celebrates the town’s musical roots with performances throughout the day\, a fiddle contest\, and plenty of opportunities for musicians and music lovers to gather. \n\n\n\nThis year’s event will feature a great lineup of bands\, with Dirty Cello as the headliner. Guests can also enjoy three pop-up “Jam Joints\,” where musicians are invited to bring an instrument and play with others in informal jam sessions. The fiddle contest is expected to begin around 12:15 PM\, so fiddlers of all ages are encouraged to come out and take part. \n\n\n\nIn addition to the music\, visitors can enjoy food\, shopping\, local vendors\, and the historic charm of Fiddletown. DESCRIPTION:The Sutter Creek Farmers Market is back for 2026.  Starting on May 2nd and running every Saturday through October 17th\, the Sutter Creek Farmers Market will feature the best of agricultural\, prepared foods\, and handmade products of Amador County.  The Sutter Creek Farmers Market will take place from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. \n\n\n\nThe Sutter Creek Farmers Market is produced by the Amador Farmers Market Association.  In 2026\, the Association is also producing Farmers Markets in Ione\, Plymouth\, and Volcano.  The Amador Farmers Market Association is a member of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the California Women\, Infant\, & Children Food Assistant Program (WIC) and they accept payment from both programs. \n\n\n\nAs the Association says\, “Meet your farmer.
