SUMMARY:Walk For The Troops
DESCRIPTION:Come rain or shine\, please join the Ione Veteran Memorial Park to honor all of the troops who served our great nation with their Annual Walk for the Troops.  The Walk for the Troops will take place on April 30\, 2022.  The walk begins at the Veteran’s Memorial Park in downtown Ione and will end at the Evelyn Bishop Hall in Howard Park.  A lunch prepared by local volunteers will be available following the walk.  Lunch tickets are $20 at the door and every lunch ticket is entered to win $5 to $100 gift cards.  Beer\, wine\, and nonalcoholic beverage tickets are also available at the door.  There will also be music\, a silent auction\, and a raffle with over 50 prizes.\n\nThe Walk for the Troops begins at 11:00 am at the Ione Veteran Memorial Park on the corner of Preston and Main Street in Ione\, California.  Lunch begins at approximately 1:00 pm.   For more information or to purchase tickets\, please call 209-304-8780 or 209-256-3158.  You can also get tickets by visiting Robyn’s Nest Hair Salon at 106 West Main Street in Ione.  Please also check out the website at ionevetmemorialpark.com.
