SUMMARY:Walk for the Troops
DESCRIPTION:Save the date for the Ione Veterans Memorial Park “Walk for the Troops\,” a special community event honoring our fallen heroes\, veterans\, and active duty military. The day begins with a full military ceremony at the corner of Preston Avenue and Main Street in Ione\, followed by a respectful walk to Evelynn Bishop Hall. \n\n\n\nAt Evelynn Bishop Hall\, guests will enjoy a catered lunch\, raffle\, and music featuring Rockin Rachel Entertainment with singer/DJ Rachel Andrews. Five $100 gift cards will be awarded as door prizes. All proceeds benefit Ione Veterans Memorial Park for ongoing maintenance and development of this important community memorial. \n\n\n\nLunch tickets are $20 each and can be purchased in advance from Robyn at 209-304-8780\, Skip at 209-256-3158\, or at Robyn’s Nest Hair Salon (106 West Main Street\, Ione). \n\n\n\nThe Ione Veteran Memorial Park is located on the corner of Preston Avenue and Main Street in Ione.
