DESCRIPTION:The Fireman’s Ball returns to Sutter Creek on Saturday\, August 30\, 2025\, continuing a tradition that’s been beloved by generations of locals. Held each Labor Day weekend\, this classic community celebration combines great food\, music\, and hometown spirit\, all in support of the Sutter Creek Fire Department. \n\n\n\nThe event begins at 5:30 PM at the Sutter Creek Firehouse (350 Hanford Street) with a no-host bar and an evening raffle and auction. Dinner is served at 6:30 PM and features tri-tip and spaghetti prepared by the Sutter Creek firefighters\, followed by a homemade dessert bar courtesy of the Sutter Creek Kindness Club. From 7:30 to 10:00 PM\, guests can enjoy live music and dancing with Darin Sexton & Highway 49. \n\n\n\nTickets are $40 for adults and $15 for children under 12. Seating will be available inside the fire bay or outdoors in the shaded area behind the firehouse\, rain or shine. The Fireman’s Ball is hosted by the Sutter Creek Community Benefit Foundation\, the Sutter Creek Fire Department\, and the Rotary Club Passport to Amador. DESCRIPTION:The 27th Annual Historic Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival will take place Friday\, August 8 through Sunday\, August 10\, 2025\, filling the streets and venues of Sutter Creek with ragtime and early jazz music. Known for its friendly and intimate atmosphere\, the festival features performances by Carl Sonny Leyland\, Frederick Hodges\, Danny Coots\, Paul Orsi\, Matt Tolentino\, Richard Dowling\, Ivory & Gold\, Piotr Barcz\, the Pacific Coast Ragtime Orchestra\, The Pianophiends\, The Key System Rhythm Ramblers\, and The Free Badge Serenaders\, among others. Music will be played across eight venues including Hotel Sutter\, Backroads Café\, Choc-O-Latte\, City Hall Auditorium\, and new locations like Brinnwood Inn\, Bubbles Champagne Bar\, and Le Mulet Rouge Winery. \n\n\n\nThe festival begins Friday at 4 pm and continues through Sunday afternoon with a finale concert. Special events include the Youth Talent Showcase\, featuring rising young performers\, and a tribute concert honoring Tom Brier. Guests can also enjoy silent movies with live piano accompaniment\, as well as after-hours jam sessions in various venues throughout the weekend. \n\n\n\nEvent badges provide access to the main venues\, while a few locations along Main Street offer music without a pass. Badges are available for individual days or the full weekend\, with pricing options for Friday\, Saturday\, Sunday\, and concerts. DESCRIPTION:Presented by Amador Arts\, this beloved summer tradition brings live music to scenic outdoor venues every Friday evening (formerly referred as the TGIF Summer Concert Series). Grab your picnic blanket\, bring the whole family\, and enjoy a variety of local and regional talent in settings that showcase the beauty of Amador County. Food and beverages are available for purchase at many venues\, and donations to the bucket at intermission help keep the music alive. Pets and outside alcohol are not permitted. \n\n\n\nEach event is hosted at a different venue throughout the county\, including historic locations like Kennedy Gold Mine and community parks like Pine Grove Park and Mollie Joyce Park. While all concerts are free\, AmadorArts encourages attendees to donate during intermission to support future programming. Concerts are held from 6 to 8 PM\, rain or shine\, and often include fun\, family-friendly extras like free art activities for kids.
