DESCRIPTION:The Ione Community 4-H Club invite you to come and support the club at their Paint and Sip night.  The Paint and Sip will be held October 7th at the Pizza Factory in Ione.  The Paint and Sip will start 6 pm on the second floor.  The Paint and Sip will feature Priscilla from Heart and Soul Studio.  Tickets for the Paint and Sip are $45 per person which includes all painting supplies.  Light snacks and will be provided. \nSpace is limited so please reserve your spot no later than September 30th.  You can reserve your spot by contacting Christine Gold at 209-256-4111 or Alissa Hardie at 209-256-9814.  Cash\, check\, and Venmo are all accepted.  The Ione Pizza Factory is located at 10 E. SUMMARY:Ione Police Foundation Fundraising Dinner
DESCRIPTION:The Ione Police Foundation presents the 7th Annual Fundraising Dinner to benefit the Ione Police Department.  The Dinner will take place on Saturday October 1st\, 2022 at the Evalynn Bishop Hall at Charles Howard Park in Ione.  Prior to the dinner will be a no-host bar starting at 5:30 pm with the dinner beginning at 6:30.  This is going to be a wonderful dinner catered by Motherlode Deli featuring grilled beef tri-tip\, grilled chicken breast\, garlic mashed potatoes\, green beans\, spring salad mix and garlic bread.  Don’t forget to bring your checkbook to support the Police Department by buying raffle tickets and bidding on the live and silent auctions. \nThe Evalynn Bishop Hall is located at 701 California Highway 124 in Ione\, California.  Tickets to the Fundraising Dinner are $40 per person or you can get a table of 10 for $350.  For tickets or for more information\, please contact any Ione Police Officer\, stop by the Ione City Hall or call 209-304-5101. \nThank you to the Amador Community Foundation for fiscally sponsoring this event.

SUMMARY:Band Against Cancer
DESCRIPTION:Band Against Cancer is an annual event that raises money for Amador STARS\, a non-profit based right here in Amador County that provides support\, transportation\, and other resources for those that are dealing with cancer. This year\, the event will be held on Saturday\, September 10th\, 2022 at the Italian Picnic Grounds in Sutter Creek\, California.  \nThe event will feature live music from local bands including The Boxhorns\, Triple Threat\, Mike Rolf\, Teal Wheels\, and The Blowbacks.  Also on hand\, dunk your local firefighters in a dunk tank.  There will be a Paint n’ Sip\, luminary ceremony\, as well as jewelry\, weaving demonstration\, corn hole tournament\, quilt show\, and so much more.  And don’t forget all the great food available for purchase from local restaurants and caters including Wing It\, Ione Tacos\, Coffee Tree\, and She’s So Charcuterie. \nIn addition\, there will also be a special event called Sip & Taste with the STARS from 3 to 6 pm where you’ll have the opportunity to try small bites and local Amador wines & brews.  Tickets for the Sip & Taste are $30 per person and you must be 21 years of age or older. \nBand Against Cancer will take place on September 10th from 9 am to 9 pm.  Admission is free and so is parking.  For more information or to purchase tickets for Sip & Taste with the STARS\, please visit amadorstars.org or call 209-267-1246
