DESCRIPTION:The 27th Annual Historic Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival will take place Friday\, August 8 through Sunday\, August 10\, 2025\, filling the streets and venues of Sutter Creek with ragtime and early jazz music. Known for its friendly and intimate atmosphere\, the festival features performances by Carl Sonny Leyland\, Frederick Hodges\, Danny Coots\, Paul Orsi\, Matt Tolentino\, Richard Dowling\, Ivory & Gold\, Piotr Barcz\, the Pacific Coast Ragtime Orchestra\, The Pianophiends\, The Key System Rhythm Ramblers\, and The Free Badge Serenaders\, among others. Music will be played across eight venues including Hotel Sutter\, Backroads Café\, Choc-O-Latte\, City Hall Auditorium\, and new locations like Brinnwood Inn\, Bubbles Champagne Bar\, and Le Mulet Rouge Winery. \n\n\n\nThe festival begins Friday at 4 pm and continues through Sunday afternoon with a finale concert. Special events include the Youth Talent Showcase\, featuring rising young performers\, and a tribute concert honoring Tom Brier. Guests can also enjoy silent movies with live piano accompaniment\, as well as after-hours jam sessions in various venues throughout the weekend. \n\n\n\nEvent badges provide access to the main venues\, while a few locations along Main Street offer music without a pass.
