SUMMARY:Amador County Fair Kick-Off BBQ
DESCRIPTION:On July 15th 2023\, The Amador County Fair Foundation will kick-off the Amador County Fair with the 14th Annual Fair Kick-Off BBQ.  The BBQ will run from 5:30 to 10:00 pm at Picnic Hill on the Amador County Fairgrounds.  The BBQ Dinner will be provided by Farmhouse Barbeque and will include tri-tip and BBQ chicken\, ranch beans\, pesto pasta\, green salad\, and garlic bread.  A no-host bar will also be available as well as a dessert auction and a raffle to support the Amador County Fair Foundation. \nTickets for adults are $30 each and tickets for youth\, ages 7 – 12 are $12.  Kids ages 6 and under are $5 and can be purchased by clicking here.  Amador County Fair Foundation (ACFF) Life Members and 2022 Grand Champion Members receive 2 complementary tickets to the Kick-Off BBQ.  The ACFF provides support for the fairgrounds and educational projects of the Amador County Fair.  For more information and to become a member\, you can join by clicking here.  For more information\, please visit the Fair’s website or call 209-245-6921.

DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss the Lockwood Fire Protection District Auxiliary Pancake Breakfast & Safety Fair.  The Pancake Breakfast & Safety Fair will be held Saturday\, June 5th\, rain or shine\, from 8:00 am to Noon.  Breakfast is just $12.  The Breakfast and Safety Fair will be held at Fire Station #151 at 23141 Shake Ridge Rd.  The Fire Station is above Daffodil Hill. \nBreakfast will be served from 8:00 am to 11:30 am.  Breakfast will include pancakes\, eggs\, sausage\, coffee\, and orange juice. \nThere will tons of fun and informative things for the whole family.  There will be a plant sale raffle\, home hardening vendors\, and CalFire demo’s.  You can learn how to use a fire extinguisher\, have a smoke free burn pile\, harden your home\, be prepared for evacuation\, learn how protect your pets/farm animals. \nAll proceeds will benefit the Lockwood Fire Protection District volunteer firefighters.  You can find out more about the district by visiting their website at www.lockwoodfire.org or by calling the Auxiliary 209-296-5201.
