SUMMARY:Too Many Cooks
DESCRIPTION:Volcano Theatre Company presents Too Many Cooks\, a fast-moving comedy by Marsha Kash and Douglas E. Hughes\, running June 12 through August 1\, 2026\, in the Volcano Amphitheatre. Presented with Orlando’s Pine Grove Market\, this lively production brings mistaken identities\, mob trouble\, music\, and plenty of mayhem to the outdoor stage. \n\n\n\nIt is opening night at Irving Bubbalowe’s new restaurant just over the Canadian border\, and he is counting on the arrival of world-renowned Italian singing chef Francois LaPlouffe to make the evening a success. Instead\, he finds himself dealing with a delivery man on the run from a Chicago mob boss\, a gangster shootout\, a murder investigation\, a daughter with a plan of her own\, and a Canadian Mountie trying to solve a case without a body. The result is a comic scramble as everyone tries to figure out whether the restaurant will ever actually open. \n\n\n\nToo Many Cooks runs June 12 through August 1\, 2026\, at the Volcano Amphitheatre in Volcano\, CA. Gates open at 6:30 PM for picnicking\, and the curtain rises at 8 PM. \n\n\n\nTickets are $24 for general seating\, $22 for seniors\, and $18 for guests under 18\, plus convenience fees when purchased online. SUMMARY:Pickleball
DESCRIPTION:Main Street Theatre Works presents Pickleball\, a hard-hitting comedy by Jeff Daniels\, running Friday and Saturday evenings from June 19 through July 18\, 2026\, at the Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre in Jackson. \n\n\n\nFrom the creative and offbeat mind of actor and playwright Jeff Daniels\, Pickleball takes a satirical look at the fast-growing sport that has captured players across the country. The play follows four below-average pickleball players who get the chance to compete in a local tournament\, but first must overcome their limitations\, excuses\, and personal rivalries in a game where there are no apologies. \n\n\n\nDirected by Susan McCandless\, this outdoor summer production brings comedy\, competition\, and plenty of silliness to the Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre. Guests are invited to arrive early\, bring a picnic\, and enjoy an evening of theatre under the stars. \n\n\n\nPickleball runs Fridays and Saturdays\, June 19 through July 18\, 2026\, at the Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre\, 1127 North Main Street in Jackson\, CA. Gates open at 6:30 PM for picnics\, and the show begins at 8 PM. \n\n\n\nTickets are $25 for general admission\, $20 for seniors 65 and older\, and $15 for youth 18 and under.
